Mag-10 Fast Pulse: Your Magic Fat Loss Pill

Within recent developments, a few colleagues pointed out an interesting new product I wanted to share with all of you.  However, I’m not suggesting you buy it or even waste your time reading about it.  Today, I simply wish to illustrate a few points and further the education of those who aren’t in-the-know.

In the past, I’ve been labeled as the consumers advocate for fitness enthusiasts and while I find it a little humorous, I sort of take it seriously.  So what if I care about what you’re filling your mind with on a daily basis?

In fact, I’m pretty passionate about helping you rid yourself of a harsh relationship with your cheeseburger.  I love getting people to think about their personal fitness routine as a journey and a positive experience as opposed to a daunting obligation.

I digress.
Now back to this awesome product.  Ladies and gentleman, I now introduce to you MAG-10 Pulse Fast – 36-Hour Physique Transformation Breakthrough.

You read it right.  When T-Nation (or T-Muscle?) first came out with their breakthrough I, Bodybuilder program where the trainees couldn’t do a proper hang clean, I was a bit skeptical.  Then, when they came out with The Anaconda Protocol, in which they were scamming newbies out of $350+ dollars for a month’s supply of product, I was just floored.

Today, I don’t wish to hate.  I’m merely writing to point out some flaws and will hopefully open the eyes of a few who’ve been led astray in the past by big promises, false hopes, and glossy pictures providing “proof.” [Read more...]

Beginner Question – Should I Bulk or Cut?

One of the common questions that will always be asked is “should I bulk or should I cut?”

Just do a quick search on the bodybuilding.com forums and you’ll get a mound of results from many young(er) guys promulgating the next step in their fitness journey.

Many beginners, primarily males, will often be exposed to strength training or bodybuilding by a friend, magazine, an old book or whatnot.  Within a few days, an obsession with resembling the models they see in the media beats against their brain incessantly until they can no longer recite their ABC’s. Naivety, Scams, and Newbies Who Know It All

Over the last few years I’ve had the great pleasure in helping many reach their fitness goals whether it be via email, message boards, training with them or through my various articles here and elsewhere.  I wish I kept tabs on everyone but there are just too many; I’ve lost count.

I might also add that I’ve learned a lot during my fitness journey.  If you’ve read my free ebook, you know I am completely transparent about the mistakes I’ve made and I sincerely hope to help those of you reading my articles sidestep the potholes I previously fell into.

As most of you know, I keep my phone number on the contact page and at the bottom of the site.  This is because I want you to know I am a real person.  That picture at the top of this site is me; the pictures on my about page are really me. I don’t purchase or steal stock images of models; I don’t fabricate my opinions nor do I pretend to know everything.  Hell, I encourage any and all of you to do just as I have and question the authorities.  I questioned all of the so-called experts we see on the internet today touting a bunch of false hopes and promises. Get Jacked – The Muscle Building Guide for Skinny Guys Part II

Last week I discussed the way you need to eat in order to turn yourself into the un-skinny guy.  Now knowing how to eat is all fine and dandy but without some sort of training involved, the extra kcals are not going to be partitioned in your favor; that is unless you want to look like the Michelin Man.

Train Unlike You Were Likely Advised

Yes, I said it.  Don’t do what everyone is telling you to do because it’s likely not suitable for the skinny guy.  Chances are if you are skinny, you are weak.  If you are weak, you are still classified as a newbie.  If you are a newbie you have no business doing Ronnie Coleman’s routine that he used during his contest prep for Mr. Olympia.  He has many years on you, not to mention the plethora of extra help he is receiving.  This is his full time job.

Now there is nothing wrong with being a beginner.  You must accept where you are and start building your foundation from the ground up.  Read my story. [Read more...]
